In 1997, Jennifer Lee began her professional journey with the Women's Center And Youth And Family Services providing oversight and supervision to Sexual Assault Programs which offer supportive and educational services to men, women and children. Under Lee’s guidance, the agency’s Sexual Assault Prevention Education and Children/Teen Counseling programs received the Action on Behalf of Children award and the Agency Program of the Year award. In 2006, Lee was promoted to Sexual Assault Program Director and in 2008, after agency restructuring, Lee was appointed to her current position as Program Director. In this role, she oversees all aspects of programming, supervision and daily management of the agency’s Domestic Violence Services, Sexual Assault Services and the Volunteer Program.
With 20 years of experience in working with families and children exposed to violence as well as providing education and training to the community, Lee has been instrumental in helping to build, sustain and strengthen the agency’s critical supportive and educational services to victims and families exposed to domestic violence and sexual assault. Compassion, collaboration, creativity, commitment and a great sense of humor have marked Jennifer’s fifteen years of service to the Women's Center And Youth And Family Services. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Child Development from CSU, Stanislaus and attended graduate school at University of the Pacific.
