Kimberly Crawford

Kimberly Crawford joined the management team at Century Villages at Cabrillo (CVC) in early 2011. As Director of Community Development at CVC, Ms. Crawford works to coordinate and expand services by enhancing collaboration on the campus as well as creating new partnerships in the community. Ms. Crawford has a wealth of nonprofit management and leadership experience. She has worked in and around CVC at the service provider level for more than a decade.
Initiating her work in social service over 20 years ago in Connecticut, Crawford received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Psychology at Central Connecticut State University. As an undergrad at C.C.S.U. she worked in the Women’s Center and the Counseling Center where she first began work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She was then offered a prestigious post-undergrad fellowship to study alcohol and drug abuse on college campuses throughout the state. In 1998 she relocated to California where she began working as a Career Development Director and Shelter Manager in Orange County. In 2000, Crawford was named the Program Coordinator of a new transitional shelter at 1736 Family Crisis Center. She worked to integrate the shelter and agency into the community, building the program into the success that it is today.
In her free time Ms. Crawford enjoys ballroom dancing, golf and rock climbing. However, most of her time is spent with her adorable 5 month old son, Maddox.
