Vincent J. Marquez, LCSW is the interim Program Director at Human Options’ Emergency Shelter in Orange County. After receiving his BSW from the University of Montana, he went to work for Big Brothers Big Sisters for 5 years, managing both school and community-based mentoring programs in Missoula and Chicago. Vincent pursued his master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago and graduated in 2008 with a dual emphasis in Social Service Administration and Clinical Social Work. After graduating, he worked as a clinical therapist in South Los Angeles, counseling children and families impacted by domestic violence and trauma. Prior to working at the Emergency Shelter, Vincent was the Program Director at The Center for Children and Families, overseeing operations for Human Options’ community counseling program. Vincent supervised program budgets, contracts, and program supervisors. There he strengthened the program’s evaluation model and executed organizational goals while cultivating strong community partnerships in the area.
Vincent’s long term goal is to lead a successful nonprofit organization, contribute to the development of innovative programs, and increase the safety and well-being of families impacted by domestic violence. Vincent resides in South Orange County with his wife and 1 year old daughter. Vincent enjoys spending time with family and exploring the great outdoors.
