Wanda Luong is the Transitional Program Manager at Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF). After completing her bachelor’s degree, Wanda joined CPAF as a Children's Advocate. After three years with the organization, she decided to take some time away to travel outside of the country for the very first time. This experience opened her eyes to new possibilities and renewed her excitement to positively impact the world. Upon returning to the United States, she continued to explore, working for a bit at Trader Joe's and the American Lung Association.
In those years back in the States, Wanda realized her calling was truly in social services and specifically, working with the Asian Pacific Islander community. She completed the MSW program at CSU Long Beach and returned to CPAF. With a 20 month old son and a hilarious partner, Wanda feels in the right place in life, with her career, and with herself. She looks forward to meeting and growing with everyone in Cohort III of the Leadership Development Program.
